What are your Bestsellers?

SOAK Bath Co soap bars are the top-selling category in our gorgeous bath and body care product line! What sells them at first glance is the aesthetic of our soap bars, that the soaps are handmade with all-natural, vegan-friendly ingredients and they are eco-friendly. If you didn't already know, our soap bar labels are made of biodegradable, plantable seed paper so you can plant the soap label and it will grow into wildflowers!

If you're considering bringing the SOAK Bath Co product line in store for the first time, we recommend starting orders include a variety of SKUs to create a beautiful, shoppable display. Depending on the designated shelf space for the SOAK Bath Co line and your budget we recommend bringing in a minimum of six SKUS and five of each SKU. This creates a small variety for your customers to choose from and allows you to have stock to refill as the soap bars sell through. Our soap bars ship in boxes of ten bars so ordering in increments of ten bars will make shipping costs most efficient. 

At SOAK Bath Co we also make the most moisturizing bath bombs, if you're looking for product to stock your shelves during the fall and winter seasons consider bringing in a selection of these bath season must-haves!

We recommend customizing your bath bomb order to the type of client you serve. For example, if you have a lot of mama's or grandma that likes to find incredible gifts for kids and grandkids you'll want to bring in our Cotton Candy Bath Bomb and our Birthday Cake Bath Bomb. If you serve more of an adult demographic we would recommend our spa-inspired bath bombs.

Our moisturizing bath bombs merchandise well in a bowl or a basket for your customers to discover. Especially popular as stocking stuffer ideas around the holiday season! Our bath bombs ship in case packs of twelve so we recommend either full case packs of each SKU or to order six of each SKU.

Is your Cocoa Butter Lotion Bar Available for Wholesale?

At this time our lotion bar is only available as a direct to consumer product on our website. There are a few reasons for this

• Margin: we don’t have enough margin to offer this at wholesale currently. We are working on a similar but a bit more upscale packaging option on this to be able to command a higher price point on this product + work out a few packaging issues we’ve encountered with consumer feedback.

• Shelf life: this product has a 6 month shelf life so we currently have this product available on a made to order basis. This would impact our shipping turnaround times for wholesale so we are looking to refine the process to ensure we can continue to fulfill orders next day.

• Sell through in a retail setting: a lotion bar is not an intuitive product for the average consumer, meaning, if the lotion bar is sitting on a retail shelf most consumers don’t easily identify what it is and how to use it. It requires a sales associate to demonstrate/explain or it requires someone to be on social media or marketing channels, ideally demonstrating it via video so the customer understands how to use it and its benefits. If you have the team or comfort on social media to do this, it would sell through but if this is a challenge it might not move so fast which is important because of the 6 month shelf life of the product.

All that being said, some of our shops are ordering this product for themselves or customers that are requesting it. We can add this item to your order however it will be at our current retail price. 

What should I set my retail prices at for the SOAK Bath Co product line? 

The majority of the products we sell wholesale allow for a 2X markup to set retail pricing. If you’d like a reference of where to price our products, please feel free to match what we have listed on our website at: www.cksoakbathco.com.

We do not hold you to the 2X rule nor do we mandate that you match our online pricing. We give you the freedom to set your pricing where you think you need to for the customer base you attract. If you ever want to host a sale to move products for a cash injection that is fine by us. Do what you need to ensure your business is successful. There are shops that are able to set just above the 2X markup on some products (that’s totally up to you) and some choose to set just below. If you want a starting point or a guide, please feel free to match our online (retail) pricing or use the 2X rule.

When will the Stained Glass Soap Bar be ready to order?

The Stained Glass Soap is a beautiful bar isn't it?!

Our Stained Glass Soap bar is unique in that it’s made of soap scraps that we accumulate from our normal line of soap bars. We have to wait until we have enough soap scraps or damaged soap bars to cut up and create a batch of Stained Glass. This makes this bar really unique but also challenging in that we don’t have set production times for Stained Glass and therefore have no set availability for them. We recommend signing up for our bimonthly email newsletter to stay up-to-date on all the upcoming and current product launches, this is the best way to stay informed on when they launch!

What is the shelf life of your soap bars?

SOAK Bath Co soap bars have a shelf life of two years. The good news is that all our products are made within three to four months of being shipped to ensure you get the best and most fresh soap bars! If you are considering stocking soap bars and would like to hold excess inventory we recommend storing them in a cool dry space to ensure they maintain their scent quality. Keep the soap bars in the boxes we've shipped them to you in, this will create a nice dark home for the soap bars while they wait for their turn on your shelves!

If you are looking to bring in a small amount of our soap bars to test with your customer base and you're concerned about shelf life, we make this easy for you as we don't have a minimum order quantity at this time. You can order as much or as little as you need for your shop!

Is it cheaper to order SOAK Bath Co product direct from you or to order through Faire wholesale?

This answer can vary depending on what is important to you and your business at the time of placing an order and where your shop is based: Canada vs USA. As a brand, Faire does take a commission from each sale if you place an order with us there and have first discovered us there. 

For our Canadian Wholesale Partners:

We don’t offer additional discounts for ordering directly, however, you can minimize some of your costs by ordering direct from us vs. Faire as we are both based in Canada. When you order on Faire Wholesale, Faire will charge you in U.S. Dollars and will charge a USD to CAD conversion fee when they process your payment, you will not necessarily see this on your Faire invoice but you will find the extra fees on your credit card statement when Faire processes the payment.

It does cost you more to order from us on Faire Wholesale if you are a Canadian shop. However, Faire offers Net 60 terms on orders where we do not. When ordering direct we require payment for your order before the order is shipped. If your business is in a position where it is more valuable to have Net 60 terms on an order then we recommend placing your order with us through Faire.

Do you offer private label or white label on SOAK Bath Co products?

Thank you for your interest in the SOAK Bath Co product line, we're flattered you've asked! Here are a few starting points/considerations regarding private label.

We offer private/white label on the soap bars on a case by case basis, please know that it is more costly to do this than onboarding our signature line of soap bars and can cost more or less depending on how clear your vision is for the final product.
